It's been announced that the NBA will be selling full-game vidoes online for $3.95 a pop through a new Google service. If the NFL did this I would pay $5-$7/game and love it. I've still never seen week 10 or weeks 12-17, because the torrent files dried up during the last half of the season. I've only seen three of our wins!

On second thought, I probably *wouldn't* buy them, because they would insist on releasing them with some kind of DRM attached, making them inferior to the free versions that would, of course, instantly become available. Content industry shoots self in foot again. Darn.

Wow I dunno how you can survive without Sunday Ticket. During the hurricanes when the Chiefs game was moved up to Friday night I was going crazy not being able to see it. I can't imagine being in your shoes, only seeing 10 or so of our games a year.

its funny you say that because you can buy every baseball game (within a week of the date) off MLB.com for $3.95

It's just too much money for me. I mean, I could afford it, just like I can afford a $4 soda at the movies. But it's just so much money for the actual value of the product that I can't bring myself to do it. I don't have DirecTV normally, so it would be $400+ out-of-pocket just to watch the 'fins games. It kills me to miss them, but I just won't do it. I listen to them on internet radio and watch the NFL GameCenter.

I'd pay half of that, but for some reason the NFL won't cut me a deal!

 I feel for you man. I got the Ticket I guess the second season that it came out, and it's been going up ever since. It is a crazy amount of cash but after getting every game for a good 6-7 years I can't imagine going back to missing a game every few weeks.

Part of my reluctance is that I'm afraid that would happen to me too. At least next year there are some nationally-televised games.

the NFL need a system live ESPN use for the college games where you get a live net feed and pay around $100 for the season.

They are missing out on a lot of people who do not live in the local areas fo teams who would love to watch their team play every week.

I for one would love this facility as we maybe get 1 or 2 Fins games live each year at the most.

mlb.com are streaming live games in the thousands each year now, so its not a logistical thing. Basically the webcast of NFL games is being held up by rights issues and the impact it might have on the directv package. A solution should ultimately be possible using the same blackout rules as mlb.com use (i.e if the game is on tv where you live, the webcast is blacked out based on your billing address), its just going to take a while.

If anything, p2p and live tv streaming sites should hopefully spur the nfl on to provide a legal alternative asap, as they are missing out on a large revenue stream.

I'd like to see the NFL do it so I could get some of those old Orange Bowl games that I went to and hold as special moments in my life.

The last 6 games was worth the ticket, last year was not even close!

But this coming year it will be worth it's weight in gold,I'm all tuned in to DTV and the Ticket.Afterall it is my religion! That and I also live in the stix. :)
