I'd like to see McPherson here, but at the same time...if he can't cut it on the Saints roster...is he really going to make ours? Who are you going to cut? Surely we won't be keeping 4 QB's on the roster. Frerotte looks to be the starter...do you cut Sage or AJ?

Of course this is all premature...we don't know for sure the Saints are going to cut him...
 
I live in New Orleans and would be surprised but happy to see the Saints let him go. I have been watching him and he is extremely talented and I believe he has gotten himself together mentally because he hasnt messed up yet and he has always made himself available to do interviews here. I would be shocked
 
No I don't. Are we so bored with all the problems we are staring out that are based in reality that 100 threads based on speculation have to be created. Everyone should stop worrying about a baseless rumour and worry about our sieve like offensive line, our inept QB play, our questionable DB rotation. They did not draft him to cut him. If they do Cut him then let the rampant speculation abound.....
 
Tureo- if all the praise you just heaped on him is true than why would you be happy to see him go?
 
The thing with the Saints is that Haslett and anyone else connected to that team has their butt on the line so they need a qb who knows the system and could step ion if something happenned to Brooks. If something happenned to Brooks and Pcpherson had to step in there season might be over because he doesnt know the playbook nearly as well as Kingsbury. Kingsbury has been here for a couple fo years now

You ever think the dicussion of rumors comes from trying to avoid worrying "about our sieve like offensive line, our inept QB play, our questionable DB rotation"?

We'll have enough time for a reality check during the upcoming 16 game season. Let people speculate during the preseason...it's a lot more fun than whining about how much our OL sucks...
 
NO I DO NOT. We will get our QB of the future from the draft next year or possibly trade/FA.

What makes you think the Saints will cut him if he as all that potential...they are not very enamored with Brooks as it is...(at least the front office)
