Just anounced on NFL Net. that SD will release Neal. Imagine hime and Ronnie in the backfield together. WOW.
 
You guys jump up and down about every free agent and player release that comes over the wire. You guys have got to be getting tired by now. But I must say I'm with you on this one. Lorenzo Neal is money. He has blocked for 1000 yard rusher in 11 straight seasons. :woot:I'm jumpin

It would be silly to compare Mauia to Neal. However, to cast Reagan Mauia aside after one season is totally asinine. Most of the film I've watched, Mauia does a pretty good job of blocking and opening up running lanes for Ronnie. Mauia has got a bigger ceiling than Neal at this point.
 
I think regan can end up like neal i mean hes bigger than him Regan is 6-0 270 and neal is 5-11 255. You know parcells is gonna side with regan for being 12 years younger but hey if neal was 12 years younger i would want him too.

I'm not pushing him aside. Like the post said if Cam was here I'm sure Neal would be here Regan or not.
That would have really been a huge deal for Ronnie

He is being released because SD does not need a FB. If you recall Norv offense does not use one that often. Remember the faze out of Konrad when Norv came?????

I do remember Norv having a Pro Bowl FB, Daryl Johnston, when he was winning Super Bowls in Dallas
