Here is my first comment for the thread;

"I think it is very important for Nick Saban to get Lance Schulters re-signed even if it is for one year. That way we can draft a free safety and Lance can groom him. I know he will command a lot of money but it he likes Nick Saban and will probably come back for a good price for us, especially when he knows the team is headed in the right direction."

That is enough for know, I would like others feed back.

Schulters did a nice job for us this year, but he wants a longer termed contract...he want's a contract to finish his career somewhere...I don't know that it is here. He also has said (last year when he signed with us) that he'd settle for a one year contract for now and seek the bigger payday next season.

I don't see him wanting to come back unless there just isn't any interest in him that his better than what we have to offer...Either way, we will draft a CB/S...at least one this draft... on day one...
 
Hi all, I know that Lance has been brought up in the past, but we do need him. I am new to finheaven and this is my first post. I am just a little worried about our secondary right now. I know Saban will come through but I feel good about Lance being back there. Yeah I know he got burned a few times but who doesn't. He is a big time player. Alright Phin fans I need some support down here, not many fin fans in Cali and I am surrounded by Raider fans, help me.:cooldude:
 
Lance would do good to stay in Miami b/c we are going in the right direction and could take him to another SB....He still got the skills, Saban would be wise to re-sign him....

welcome Icefan, you have some great support in Cali, you just haven't met them yet. I agree with you, I am hoping Nick will address some defensive side issues in the draft, and keep Schulters. We need some young fire breathers on the defense.

Hey, do me a favor, post in bigger point, my geezer eyes have a hard time as it is, your tiny letters were making me blind, I had to enlarge it to enjoy it.
