My fiance and I are going to be getting married next November. I will be going to a Phin game and then head out for a cruise. I just wanted to know if anyone knows a good place to stay thats close to the stadium. Thanks

Alot of people rave about the Hard Rock Hotel / Casino in Hollywood. It's only a few minutes from Phinz Stadium....
If not there, I would recommend staying somewhere in Ft. Lauderdale. It's only a short ride to the stadium, and it's much nicer than Miami IMO. There are plenty of places to stay other than Miami....

I'm not a local, but my wife and I vacationed down there last year and enjoyed staying in Coconut Grove. Yes it's a little touristy, but then, we're tourists. We stayed at the Mayfair House, which was very nice, and they were also in the process of renovating, so it's probably even better now.
BTW, I can't recommend Orbitz.com strongly enough. We got a fantastic rate on our room. Enjoy!

Stay at the Renaissance Mariott in Plantation. It is in a good location, plus the team stays there the night before the game, so you can meet players and get autographs and pictures. It is pretty neat seeing the players up close. Also, the hotel/resturant are very nice!

Stay at the Renaisannce hotel off 595 and Pine Island road. From there, you can jump on the turnpike and go straight to the stadium. You can also go North from there to go to Fort Lauderdale beach.

There is an Extended Stay by the Broward Mall. Its a pretty good location and the hotel isn't bad at all

Is the cruise leaving out of Port Everglades or Miami?

You didn't really ask, but I would go to an all-enclusive resort for your honeymoon. Cruises are so busy with people, and you two want to be alone on your honeymoon. We went to the MNF game against the Pats, and then went on the Sandals Negril in Jamaica for a week. Best trip ever!!! The all-enclusives are the only way to go! Way more relaxing than a cruise I think. Not as much to do, but if you are out-going and like to meet people you can have a great time with them, or just hang out with your wife. Perfect trip!

If you want to throw down $250 a night stay at the hard rock otherwise for the sheer fun of it all stay at the marriot.
As a shameless plug you can call my inlaws (they run a cruise travel agency) and they will Hook You Up just let them know you are a poster on finheaven.com. The number is 877-227-7775 (ask for ron or cheryl) This goes for everyone on finheaven as well.
As far as which port it really doesn't matter. you can't get on the boat till after 12 usually so theres really no rush to get to a line and wait. Trust me I'm going on my 15th cruise this summer :D (my wifes 21st) I take it the ship leaves on monday cause you don't want to leave in the middle of a sunday game :D

Your close to Los Olas, on the beach.....this will get you brownie points I guarantee.

Sheraton Yankee trader where Shula's on the beach is located. That's on Ft. Lauderdale beach. I would've adviced to get a room w/ a beach view but you're going on a cruise.

Please ignore this advice. Sistrunk is Ft. Lauderdale's dope town. Dangerous neighborhood, and without question that last place you want to be....
Justafart, stay in Buffalo!!!! We don't want anymore transplants down here thank you very much...
