Hello fellow fin fans. Good news and bad news. My wife and I welcomed our second baby girl and future fin fan into the world Thursday night at 10:09 PM. Unfortunately, she was delivered at 26 weeks. Currently she weighs 2 lbs. 1 oz and is 13 inches long. She is in our local NICU and has a hell of a fight ahead of her. Our first daughter was born at 25 weeks and was 1 lb. 8 oz. So if there is a silver lining we know that it is possible for her to survive and be healthy. Our first daughter is now 2 and half years old and is completely healthy. She really is a miracle and gives us the strength and faith to know that Avery can make it out of here. As excited as I am for the beginning of our beloved Dolphins season I am dealing with much bigger things in my life right now. I have seen how amazing and supportive you can all be when a fellow fin fan encounters a bigger than football event in their life. I'm simply asking you all to take a moment and say a small prayer for my little baby. She is absolutely going through hell right now and its devastating as a father to helplessly watch your little girl suffer. In advance I appreciate all of the thoughts and prayers I know you will provide for my little miracle. God bless and let's go dolphins!
On a side note why not bring in Champ Bailey to play safety until Jones gets back. I know he is old and in the midst of a serious decline but isn't he still better and able to bring a stronger presence to our secondary than Jimmy Wilson. Just a thought, maybe a bad thought but personally i don't think he would be more of a liability than Wilson. Again, thank you all!
