Not sure if this has been brought up before, but does anyone else feel that the new practice bubble may have taken away the Phins' early season home game advantage. In the past, the Phins conditioning has always been extremely obvious late in home games that were played in hot, humid conditions. No where was this more clear than in the game against the Packers. Is the team using the bubble for more than just rainy days? If so, this may have actually hurt the team.

i dont think it hurts us this much, and we did use the bubble but not enough to effect that.

The problem with the practice bubble is that there is improper lighting and JAson ALLen has had trouble reading his playbook thus far keeping him from playing much.

I've often wondered about that as well, How does the bubble work? Do they practice in there all the time or is it just for rainy days? From listening to Saban he said practicing in it helps keep them fresh because they dont have to practice in the heat. If they are practicing in the air conditioned bubble full time I think it's ridiculous but I never could find much information about it.

i think they only used it when it rained but im not sure if we used it everyday than it would completely take away that advantage, anyone who actually lives in miami knows this

No doubt.

Now people are blaming the practice bubble.

What a joke.

hey, if we didnt have the bubble i bet people would blame it on the players being to exhausted from the heat:tongue:

Dam you bubble...dam you to hell..... The power of christ compels you...the power of christ compels you....lol.

It would seem that way if they were giving the game up in the 4th quarter. They are playing best in the 4th quarter. I don't think the bubble is making them drop balls. The defense is playing well, but they are giving up 1 or 2 plays per game. It looks like bonehead plays, blown covereages or assignments and not because they are worn down from the heat. So, no the bubble is not affecting their play. The players are not playing well.

If it's an airtight bubble I think the lack of oxygen would be an issue.

Its the defense I believe he is talking about. They have been worn out and not playing as well late in games. I think its the age of the DL and Zack more than the bubble.

They just are getting older and arent going to be as fresh near the end.

That is why our offense need to get something done early.

I didn't mean to imply that practicing in the bubble was the sole reason we are losing at all. The reason we are 1 - 6 is that our O-line is below average, our DB's are terrible and can't catch or tackle, we have slow receivers who can't catch either, we commit to many dumb and untimely penalties, and we started the season with a gimpy QB who is clueless when it comes to reading defenses. On top of all of that, the coaching has been questionable at best. With all of that said, I still think that not practicing in the heat enough has contributed to the lack of effort and energy on the field, maybe even made the team a little soft.

bubble

are you people serious. anybody ever been to florida in the summer??? you sweat in the shower. has anybody been watching the games--they have not been folding late--the show up folded, spindled and mutilated. Daunte gets sacked early and often. this team has talent-we all know that. this falls on sabans head--directly. he is not the man for the job--i was a fan but i now see that he can not prepare nor motivate his palyers. and for the life of me why would we take two crappy head coaches and give them off. and def. positions.this team likes to lose and have gotten use to it. good ridance(?) to this pile of trash and lets start over with quality front office and coaches.

hmmmm.... do you think the hurricanes have been using the bubble too? Looking for some other excuses for them too...... but then again i think coker is enuf of an excuse..... wait a minute, maybe coker is rubbing off on the dolphins since they are still in the area code?? damm it sux when both your teams suck at the same time, its always been one was bad one was good, now they are both bad..... thank god for the nba season and the heat... as long as they stay away from the bubble. or would the bubble help them since it will be hotter?
