New Deal: Dolphins aquire Julias Thomas for late rd pick...

Absolute steal. If nothing else he will catch red zone passes. But i expect much more
 
He never said a 7th rounder. He said a late rounder. Could be 6th or 5th for all we know. Plus trade not official until March 9th
 
So im guessing in the end of this Albert/Thomas swap, it'll be two seperate deals which will just end up with Miami and Jacksonville swapping picks in a late round.
 
I edited it. Hate we lose a pick this year though, regardless of the round because we are already losing 2 thanks to the Caroo trade. But if Thomas can stay healthy and regain his Denver form....
 
Now that is a trade that I can work with. What is the Albert compensation though? Will it still be a pick in 2018?
 
Cool. Seam threat and red zone target. Hopefully we can get an in shape and motivated season out of him.
 
Here's hoping they got him to restructure his contract.
 
Not going to lie I am pretty stoked. I'm just glad we didn't give up anything more than a late round pick.
 
If its a Gase decided move then Im on board, however I have my doubts until I hear the details that idiot Tannenbaum didn't give up a 5 or 6th round pick for a guy they were going to cut, and wonder what the salary hit is going to be because then the gain of losing the Albert salary off the books is a wash.......
 
Confused. Why not just swap Thomas for Albert? I thik Thomas can help us. I really do, but am hoping it's a restructure.

Julius Thomas is a better player and safer bet than anyone we'll have the chance to draft in the 7th round.
