New details emerge, don't see how Marshall isn't suspended

A large bloody knife, a bloody gun clip, and a handgun were recovered from the home.



Such details were not included in the single-paragraph incident report, prepared by Det. John Lawrence, that the Sheriff’s Office has released to the public. South Florida Times has confirmed that Lawrence was the lead detective on the case but that at least nine other deputies were on the scene prior to his arrival. Each of those deputies compiled reports with graphic details of what occurred.

As I mentioned in a thread a couple of months ago, no doubt in my mind Marshall will be missing some if not all of the 2011 season. With these new gruesome details emerging(read the whole article), confirms that Marshall is about to feel the wrath of Goodell. I wonder if they start looking at free agent receivers. Who is still out there?

We would have heard something by now if Marshall was at risk. Maybe not a final decision, but there would have been rumors all over the media about an upcoming Marshall suspension. Don't know why you want him suspended so badly, but it isn't going to happen...

Charges were dropped against his wife. He was not charged with anything. He will not be suspended.

Big press release about BPD was a good PR move. Not saying he did it for that reason; I'm sure it was relieving for him to get that stuff off his chest, but the fact is it's tough to suspend him after that without absolutely damning evidence of a SPECIFIC wrongdoing.

Who really knows what will happen. always said it wasnt a simple case of his woman went crazy and stabbed him. Not sure the NFL can really make heads or tails of what actually happened. It was interesting that none of this came out initially that the wife had some wounds and about the gun. At some point marshall will definately have another incident and we shall see.

Charges were dropped and it wasn't Marshall who was the aggressor it was his wife so I don't understand why people keep saying Marshall will get suspended.

Hell none of us really know what happened. Charges were dropped againt his wife because of conflicting evidence . so none of this is as clear cut as many wanted to believe. I still dont see a suspension yet he definately has issues for sure though
