Just saw this one CBS' pregame show.

"Ricky's new deal includes a default clause that protects the team in the event that Williams fails to report, practice, or play for any reason including suspension. While Williams can earn several million dollars in incentives, he would be required to return bonus money and additional slary if he breaches the contract."

IMO, this new info further proves that Ricky's deal is truly performance-based. (I assume) The more he's on the field, the more money he makes. So if he gets hurt and goes out for the year, we save money.

Ricky is a different kind of football player. He wants to EARN his money.

I can't believe that he signed another incentive based contract.

The guy really loves football. He makes you want to root for him. Congrats on getting such a great player. ;)

I just hope he doesn't earn much money today. :)

williams is a great guy...he is not like all these other players (tony gonzales, Jimmy Smith, etc.) who just want money money money...he truly plays for the love of the game
