New ESPN QB Rankings - Harrington #27

Harrington is servicable at best. IMO he is a step down from Gus. We need a franchise quarterback in Miami and none of the ones we have can fill that role. I realize Dan aint comin back but we need a Drew Brees or an Eli Manning, or a Phillip Rivers..Somebody we can build on.

This, of course, is impossible. Harrington is easily #2, and the only reason he's not ranked #1 is because of all the Peyton Manning fanboys. Anyone who says otherwise is not a Dolphins fan, and should be kicked off this board immediately. An acceptable alternative is that the poster must change his avatar to a "Joey Supporter" avatar, and his signature block must contain as many glowing references to the superhuman being and all around champion of truth that is Joey Harrington. In addition, the poster will have to make as many posts as possible stating that CK and Dupree are Culpepper fanboys, and are in denial of their massive mancrushes on Joey.

Also, several accusations must be made daily as to whether or not Saban is indeed a good coach, if Ronnie is a bust, and that Zach should be moved to safety.

As you can see, after only starting 6 games, Harrington is now currently the 12th ranked QB in the NFL.....

PHINZ RULE!!!!

Here's one you may have missed.

Joey is ranked 43rd out of 53 :(

And remember that Bluehaze is the one who was always posting the ESPN QB poll when he was ranked 24th. He thought Joey would climb to 21 or something after last week.

Personally I am a little surprised. I was pretty sure he was going to move to 23 so to see him go backwards was a bit of a surprise. If only he could have played as well in the second half as he did the first.

Hopefully tomarrow he will put together four quarters of accurate throws, moving the chains and finding the enzone. Then he can rise in any and all QB ratings while giving us fans a very happy Thanksgiving :D

Those are terrible rankings, there doesnt seem to be any rhyme or reason behind them.

The only thing I can think of is they are putting far to much stock into yardage and not the other stats, because the numbers of those around Harrington are far better than his.

How can one site rank him 12th in the NFL, while another ranks him 43rd???....

Hmm....

PHINZ RULE!!!!

Because he is truly closer to 43 then he is to 12. The 27 of 32 poll backs that up. I wish we did have a top 12th ranked QB. But as of right now we really don't.

All the Hmm... in the world won't change that. But Joey throwing more completions, more touchdowns and less INT will.

joey is good and winning so give it up all the joey haters out there trying to put him down!!!

Well you're half right

He's doing a fine job for us as a backup. You can still support him without putting him on a pedistal he has yet to earn.
