Who thinks Rob Ryan would entertain an offer to come coach against his brother in the AFCE. LOL

I know I know, I'm not really serious, but how hilarious would that be? The battles would no doubt be epic. They probably have some of the same philosophies and ways of thinking since they are twins and both started as D-coordinators.

Might be something worth discussing.

God why isnt he our coach already. if nothing else he would be entertaining. Better than Sparano's canned meat answers.

You know last night I had a thread ready to go last night talking about how Rob Ryan would be the perfect head coach because of his defensive mindset. But then I thought about how much crap I was going to get from all the angry fans on here.

Anyways, yes I would love to have Rob hired next year as our HC. Talk about a taking the Jets-Dolphins rivaly to another level!

I don't want any Ryan garbage on this team... This year will expose Rex Ryan for the fraud that he is. The Ryans belong as coordinators, that is all.

Fraud ? He got his team into the AFC Championship game 2 Yrs in a row ... if he was coaching the Dolphins Knowing some of the Dolphins fans they would be talking about him in the same sentance as Shula ... Listen I HATE THE JETS but give Ryan credit

If he can coach anything like his brother bring him in in a heartbeat!

True.. We all hate the Jets and everythign that is Jets, but give credit where credit is due. He is a helluva coach. He is so much better than Sparano it isnt even debateable.

Rex is a defensive mastermind. I don't dispute that. But he is not head coach material. He is not a guy who will ever win a super bowl as a head coach. Mark it down. He runs a loose ship. Too much arrogance. Too much talk. That stuff will wear thin. He constantly says he will win the Super Bowl each year. Well, where is it? Once the luck on the offensive side runs out, and the bottom falls out, lets see how well Rex will cope. I'm telling you, its been smoke and mirrors that past 2 years. They lucked into the playoffs first season, and were on the verge of collapse last season. Credit for them beating the Pats in the playoffs, but once again they fell short. They will fall short again.

Heck, during his first stretch of adversity, he freaking CRIED in the locker room! That's leadership?

At best, Rex is a loudmouthed Andy Reid. Hyped up every year, does some good things, but ultimately wins nothing. Rob seems to be even less equipped to be head coach.

If Bill Cowher isnt our next head coach then I want Sparano back next season.

I like Rob's attitude. I'm not sure if he is a head coach or not, but I would have a beer with him.

Did anyone watch the end of the Jets game Sunday? As the clock ticked to zero, some Jet must have said something to him. The camera was on him, and cut away as he got animated while yelling something akin to "hey f--- you". They didn't come back to him, but Collinsworth said that Rob was fired up about something and stomping around the field.

The problem with both of the Ryan's is they cannot control their emotions. They are ticking time bombs.

I watched a Jets' preseason game and a receiver ran (I think was pushed too) out of bounds. He came right at Rex. Did Rex give him right of way? No. He put up a forearm and leaned into the kid. Classy stuff.
