New idea for the NFL

i think it would be pretty awesome if there was a legitimate NFL shop that would sell every team's jersey instead of the team you are closest too. I live in Maryland and i detest the ravens and redskins...if only some stores would sell dolphin jerseys up here sigh :shakeno:

I'm sure you know NFL.com has a team store with every team..BTW I live in NY and I know what you mean..I also have no local store with Miami gear and it sucks..I envy anyone who lives in Miami who can go to a store and have only Dolphins stuff...only in my dreams..:mad:

i'm sure 95% of the people who go to those stores are fans of the closest team/teams. carrying other teams' gear could possibly cutdown on the local team's stuff, and that wouldn't fly at all. you'll have to order online.

hmm yea prolly, still sucks that i have to put up with favortism for the ravens and redskins....i personally dont mind the internet, but my dad doesnt like it. Thats why i got panda privacy and security so i could get him into buying online. Meh w/e just a thought.

Check with the store, they could probably order anything you want them to.

Dude I live in Orlando and the Champs sports here seemed to have more jerseys of out of town teams than the Dolphins (one rack or so), Bucs (I really didn't see much) or Jaguars (don't remember seeing a rack at all).

They would lose a lot of money that way because those jerseys would just be sitting there. How many Seahawks and Raiders jerseys do you think they will sell in Maryland? Not that much I bet.

That number is way too high. I live in Giants/Jets country and to say that 9 out of 10 people here are fans of those teams is absurd. I'd say it is going to be more like 70-75% are fans of the local team. Which would still give plenty of audience for merchandise from other teams.

I think the original poster has a great point. There is an NBA store in NYC which is extremely successful, they should launch one there.

How many Raider jerseys?? Tons. Maybe not that many Seattle, Arizona, Detroit jerseys.....but Raider fans are everywhere. Just like Dolphin fans, Steeler fans, Cowboy fans etc.

If you are running such a store, you would have be aware of which are the most popular teams and stock accordingly.....but even an Cardinal, E.James jersey would sell at any store in the country right now.

Well, the owner of the store doesnt have to carry as many jerseys and what not of every team but just in proportion to where they live...just as longs as they carry all of the teams in some fashion
