Hey guys. I was looking around for jerseys and I came across these grey tinted jerseys, did I miss something. Are these the new uniforms?

The "Storm" jerseys are just ones they are using for merchindise. Other then buying them off the official website(and maybe some other stores), they are not being worn by the team. The only thing that is changing is the shadow around the numbers. Something very few people will even notice as a change.

The big change(new logo, new unis) is rumored to be coming in Spring 2008.

Without a doubt. If they pick the right shade of gray/silver I'd take it over the orange jerseys for special occasion games.

There is no real link saying 2008, but if you piece it together, it sounds like a strong possibility. Here are some things that point that way:

The subject of the report is NFL Creative Director Shandon Melvin, who grew up in the area and designed this year’s Super Bowl logo. At one point Melvin’s father, all proud and probably saying things he shouldn’t be discussing, says, “Right now he’s working on a new logo for the Dolphins and the Chargers.†Then the reporter adds, “Now, the inside word is that [Melvin] is working on a design update of the iconic NFL logo itself.†Then they cut to an audio clip of Melvin, who confirms the league logo revision: “We’re looking to update our brand just a little bit and to, I would say, refine it.â€Â

Also, we now know the Charers DID spice up their logo and uniforms. Miami hasn't made the major change yet, but it appears this specific man is working on the new one. Someone mentioned before that to change a logo/uniforms the team has to make a formal request to the league a full year before the change. If Miami decided early in 2007 that they were changing, and official change couldn't happen until 2008 anyways.

I'd consider getting one whether the team ever wore them or not. They're that cool. Heck, I've seen chicks wearing pink Yankee hats because they think they're cool. Same idea, just not as "wine and cheese."

Backing up what you're saying, when the slight modification of the uniform numbers was announced in one of the Miami papers they did mention that the team was giving serious consideration to a substantial change in the uniform.

I don't have the link (nor do I intend to search for it), but I'm sure others on this board remember it as well.

Yeah those. They're not going to be used? What's the point.

If they're not used, that would put them in the same category as the navy ones. From my understanding, the navy jerseys are official, just not ever used.
