Saban has requested a no fire clause be added to his Miami Contract for the last 3 years. WH refused...

Saban is about to get ran out of Miami. :fire::fire::fire:
 
Got a link... some shred of proof or is this more drunken fantasy?
 
If that is true, I say Huizenga should just give him the clause. I am of the opinion that most coaches get fired way too early nowadays anyway, and Saban may have made a couple bad decisions so far, but he is a good enough coach and has proven enough to earn some extra job security. If this report is true, he isn't even trying to get more money.
 
I'm just trying to pass on info, It was a news report that just ran. Hopefully someone else saw and can verify and correct. I dont have TIVO so that is the closest I could get from memory.
 
Wow if that's true I feel a bit different about the situation.

Don't think so.
 
Saban should not have to worry about being fired with the mess he inherited. I don't think that was a lot to ask...
 
I hope Wayne says no.

That means Nick can not show up for practice, and get paid for it. Or just sit there and read a book instead of coaching.
 
I wouldn't do it either, hell he's already gotten full control over personnel. Huizenga did the right thing by not giving in
 
I saw it too. It was the TOP news story tonight. He's not lying.
 
An owner has to be stupid to put that type of clause on any contract to anybody, period. It doesn't matter what type of organization you are running, a NO FIRE CLAUSE is stupid as hell, especially to an unproven coach at the pro level.
