The NFL and NLFPA announced a new drug policy on Wednesday morning, which features HGH testing, the use of third party arbitration, and overturns the suspension of a few NFL players.

Unfortunately for the Miami Dolphins' two suspended defensive players the team hoped they’d get back – starting strong safety Reshad Jones and defensive end Dion Jordan – apparently aren’t on the list of suspended players who are having their four-game punishment ended.

of course...

New PED policy reinstates only three players (and not Dion Jordan)

UPDATE 11:19 a.m. ET: Per a league source, Jordan’s positive test came before March 11, which means that his suspension won’t be listed.

Because Jordan's positive test came before the start of the new league year, he is not eligible for reinstatement under the new drug policy.

Pat Surtain just tweeted this lol.

So... Jordan and Jones positive tests came before the start, thus, they messed up earlier and have been 'punished' longer.

Yet, Welker was popping molly during the pre-season and is now back?

Wtf...

Welker tested positive in May after the Kentucky Derby. Orlando Scandrick said he was tested in April after he returned from vacation. Both came after the start of the new league year in March so yeah, they are both back while the others are left scratching their heads.

Man this league can't get anything right now. You should apply the same rules to everyone. If you let one person of and not another for the same thing that is total BS. All or none. I realize some of the suspended players don't fall in the recreational category but this is wrong.

Just insane....so it was longer ago so you're still in trouble but these guys that just got in trouble are fine. Just stupid

So...if you f'd up last year, you are still suspended.

If you f'd up this year, you get to play.

:chuckle: NFL f'n joke.

Yea I have to say if u let one guy off for testing positive for the same thing it should be for everyone, what does it matter if one guy fails 8 days before the start of the league year or if one fails 3 days after the league year starts?

The league has pretty much zero credibility with suspensions, drug policy and everything else.
