I think that during the offseason that a change has to be made regarding Pasqualoni and Henning. Yes, Henning seems to be doing a good job, but really isn't the success of the offense more tied to David Lee and the Wildcat than anything Henning has done.
Pasqualoni uncreative defense, i.e. the lack of any multiple blitz packages, against good teams continues to hurt us. Even when they came out with a different formation against the Saints, they stayed with it in the second half when it was not working.

The game last Sunday was a prime example. I used to love watching Dolphin games when Shula coached because if something was not working in the 1st half, he would make adjustments and the whole complexion of the game would change. This coaching staff seems to make no adjustments at halftime and stick to the same gameplan the whole game. If they don't coach it during the week it ain't happening. You have to be able to adapt in this league. If not, you will die.

what were they supposed to adjust...they held drew bree's team to only 3 points in the first 28:30 minutes...thats pretty damn good...2 picks is even better...the trouble is not the OC and the DC...the trouble is we turnover the ball, A LOT!!! and we have to be able to KNOW that our recievers can catch the dog gone ball!!!!

I think henning may be done anyway, BUT I don't want to see to big of a change I am a big believer in consistency, I think our coaching staff has proved it's not coaching problems. If we hire and fire coaches every season we may never win anything

I understand what you are saying, but the definition of stupidity(if I may make a play on words) is if you do the same thing and you expect a different outcome. I agree continuity is important, but not at the sake of improvement.

By the way, wasn't Pas the one that drove the Syracuse football program into the ground.

I'm ok with Henning. He's a little old school and sometimes boneheaded, but I think overall I'm satisfied with him. I also won't be devastated to see him go, so I'm fine with whichever way they choose to go.

It's Pasq that I want replaced. Our defensive schemes are terrible. Our defense is very predictable, and we do a poor job blitzing. He's failed to utilize some very dangerous pass rushers effectively. Our scheme doesn't adequately compensate for two very similar safeties.

I know it's not all him...we have a lousy "quarterback of the defense" and our secondary has no real leader (who would've thunk it was Renaldo Hill?). But overall the defense was talented enough to not get toasted like it has.

i'm ready for both of them to be gone..more so with Pasqualoni than Henning...Pasqualoni frustrates me more with his lack of innovative defensive playcalling...he's vanilla at best imo,and i hope he gets fired after the season's over...also,our ST Coach needs to go...

I would much rather have a new DC than a new OC if there's a choice.

I think Romeo will be our D coordinator next year as he has visited dolphin practice a few times, is close to parcells, was under parcells in 3 stops, and promotes an attacking style defense instead of Pasqualoni's "read and react" garbage we have seen too many times.

In fairness to Henning, he did try to make an adjustment when the Saints were stacking the box and blitzing like crazy. Too bad the players didnt execute.

I agree with you on Paslaquoni though. Hes not creative at all. It still bugs me why he stopped running exotic blitzes when we were up 24-3.
