None of these guys are tied to Tannehill, this is a lot of coach speak until the pads come on and live bullets are in the gun

Put another 6-10 season on the board and see where all that love goes after "one season".

It'll be nice to see a good play caller with Tannehill though.. No more bubble screens Every drive.

if you dont wanna go 6-10, I sure hope Tannehill can play multiple defensive positions as well as QB and improve at all 3.

This D needs a full rebuild, we are going nowhere next year

No doubt. This is do or die for Tannehill. IDK how its gonna end up, but I do enjoy the lunacy in these Tannehill threads from both sides.

I mean you pretty much have to root for him . . . even if you don't think he has the goods. Nothing like having a sure thing at the most important position on the field.

I think the difference is, any "middle of the road stuff" should be thrown in with the "get rid of him" stuff. Don't care to have any confusion on 17 after this season . . . either he shows that he is the guy or we go fishing for a new guy in 2017.

Hell, I'd be OK with it if this staff were convinced a QB that falls to us is a franchise caliber qb. Tannehill hasn't earned unquestioned future qb status. I doubt it happens though and TBH I know little about the QBs in this years draft.

What is he going to say...

"Coach, how do you feel about the QB"

"Meh, I don't know, I mean I guess we will go with him if we have to, but we will explore other options"

Well to be fair he could have given an answer like "we are currently evaluating every player" or something like that, bit yeah he's not gonna diss the qb regardless.

And guaranteed that everyone that comes here saying that THIS is just coach speak, would NOT be saying that if those were the words the coach used. It would be stated as undeniable fact that he is not a RT fan.

Well that wouldn't exactly be the normal "coach speak" into which that term applies would it? You bash your 96 million dollar QB in your first interview, would seem to be close to a fact that you don't really care for him.

Hell maybe he hates the guy and is using this "coach speak" to smokescreen teams into believing they are not into Carson Wentz and in reality they love Wentz and are planning to draft him at 8.

It's late January and we were 6-10 and only played in one playoff game in 14 years, at this point I don't care what any of the coaches do to this roster . . . have at it boys.

tape guys are always fooled :rolleyes2:

seriously though if he wants to run indys tempo under peyton tannehills gonna have to make some seriously quick decisions and dead on accurate ones to do so at the peyton level...no one sees things faster at qb than peyton manning in his prime did

sounds promising at least
