I have to admit I was curious to see what the reaction would be in the fourth quarter if Baltimore was running away with their game and the Jets were eliminated...the cheering for the Carpenter FG was pretty loud, among other things. Maybe the Jet fans just left by then but it's pretty ironic Chad got more support now than he did last year.

At least we are not Lions fans.

The irony here is that many of you were on the "Get Rid of Chad" bandwagon" Even last year..all I read was drop Chad for Clemens.

The Jets were already knocked out, Favre took care of that!

Pennington is nothing special but Favre was just awful.

Thanks, i have to say, ive never been so happy to see the Jets loose. Pennington is a class act, and the Pats arent in the playoffs. Hopefully Mangini is gone too. Things could be worse, winning didnt get us anywhere that game anyway.

I'm happy the Favre experiment turned into a colossal failure for the organization. They got what they deserved by trying to pull a fast one on the fans by signing old damaged goods with no shortage of baggage.

I don't know what happened to Dolphins fans. Maybe it was the humility that comes from rooting for a 1-15 team. But you guys have been class acts even as our season was spiraling down the toilet. Really glad it's the Fins and not the Pats moving on to the Postseason.

No thank you. Cassel is proof that the Pats can make a success out of anyone. Whatever team he winds up on next will regret signing him.

Man Favre supposedly had trouble learning our offense. Imagine what it must have been like learning Fin Offense. I don't think they ran the same play twice

First they geled together and then they took off. Then something happened either before or immediately after the Denver "Ice Cold Rain Game". And that was it. Suddenly they can't pass, can't stop the run, can't defend the pass and they consistantly steered away from the running game. Seems like they just quit. What was said?

I think most Jets fans liked Chad but hated that he got hurt every year. When healthy he will give you a chance to win every day. The fact that he made it through 16 games without getting hurt is a miracle.

Signing free agents like stocking an expansion franchise... including Faneca, Pace, Woody, Jenkins, etc... etc... etc... $130 million.

Trading for Mr. All World QB Brett Farve to run the whole attempted buying of a championship show... $10 + million, and several draft picks.

Losing in your own stadium to the formerly 1-15 Miami Dolphins who's QB is the one your team discarded like a used tampon after signing the Big Apple heart-throb Farve... thus proving to everyone in the world that your just the SAME OLE JETS? ... PRICELESS!

I'll say one thing for the dolphins that I really admired, nobody touched their QB at all. CP had all the time in the world yet they were banging Favre around pretty good and don't they line-up in a 3-4 D as well?

How does a team go from looking like one of the best in the NFL, to looking like the worst, in a matter of 5 weeks?

I see for a while that many people on this chat have negative feelings against Jets but now I understand everything that anyone says about them losing. I am very anrgy at manginius and I am very angry at Favre!!!

the team plays with NO heart and NO confidence! I am very tired of seeing this every week!!

Never mind the BS pregame speech that was one of the worst pregame speeches ever.

But when we lost and he just ran off the field without shaking anyones hand - that was truely a classless act. I am not sure I have ever seen that after a game from a QB.

I think Favre hates Chad more than most of us do. He gets lit up by him every time he plays him.

Your telling me. I've done sooo much trash talking toward these dolphin fans, I'm afraid to show face at work tomorrow, or to anyone for that matter. Everyone that knows me, knows that I'm a Jets fan. During the whole game, and mostly after, my phone wouldn't stop ringing with phone calls, and text messages, from these sorry dolfans. I ignored all. Oh, woe is me. The only thing I had to boast about, is that we had the fins number. Now i don't even have that anymore.

Typical NY transplant attitude here in Miami. I for one truly enjoyed this one.
