I started a new project yesterday.

I thought there may be a need for a Miami Dolphins Wiki project so I set up PhinsPedia.com.

I looked around and couldn't find a central database for all things Dolphins so I decided to fill a niche. There is no content yet but I know there would be no shortage of contributors here at Finheaven and I'd like to start with the folks who comprise the Premium membership.

For now, this is for Premium members only. If all turns out well, we will expand it to include VIP'ers in the near future.

A few of the FH mods have offered to help moderate the contributions to keep the folks from competing sites from defacing the place. I also drafted MindWarp to help run the site and njfinfan has agreed to write our introduction page.

I hope that some of you will contribute material to the site. If you need help on how to post material to a Wiki site, you can PM me or look at the tutorial here

Thanks, Raul.

If you want to help (and this goes for anyone), I figure that we will need pages for each member of the coaching staff throughout the history of the team, drafts, individual game synopsis, history, owners, etc

I hope that we can make the site a central source for information about the Miami Dolpins
 
Wow, that sounds like a great idea! I don't how much if anything I have to contribute, but I can't wait to see it. When you do open it up to VIP, make sure to let Marvin (Mr. Clean) know. He's like a living breathing Miami Dolphins encyclopedia.

Database error
A database query syntax error has occurred. This may indicate a bug in the software. The last attempted database query was:

(SQL query hidden)

from within function "User::addToDatabase". MySQL returned error "1054: Unknown column 'user_newpass_time' in 'field list' (mysql1024.servage.net)".

Thanks for reporting the error. I upgraded the software and it apparently didn't like the SQL DB I set up for it so....we are back to the previous version and it should work now.
 
Sounds good, a big undertaking though. Let me know if I can help in any way.

Anyone is welcome to help by contributing articles or expanding on the 'stubs' that Jimmy James and I are writing.

The Dolphins media guide is the one stop shop for all information regarding the phins. I don't know how the copyright rules work so I'm not sure how it can be used.
