Not really new, but a lot more substance.

With the QB situation being resolved, do not be surprised to see Miami sign a few more FAs in the up coming days.

Gus was cut not just because Saban feels Daunte will be ready to get his roll on right away or because of his cap number. But 2 reasons. 1) Mularcky loves Cleo Lemon as a project. and 2) If Miami doesn't draft a QB in round 4 or 7 (unlikely to be 3 now) or they can't sign McCown, Saban is supposedly contemplating only having 2 QBs on the roster.

Mare is as good as gone, but Saban probably won't sign Vanderjack. According to the host, you could see Miami go after Nick Novack.

Guys Miami are currently looking at or considering offering a contract to include Chris Hope, Ahmed Plummer, Deshea Townsend, Sam Adams,Tank Williams, and Rey Teague. Miami is also watching what happens with Benji Olsen.

LeVar Arrington and Jullian Peterson are also on the list, but Peterson won't sign until LeVar signs, and LeVar is a mistory right now.

Ty Law and Charles Woodson also might have visits with Miami, but their asking price is WAY too high at the moment.

I read a few days back that Saban was actually hoping to carry 4 quarterbacks this season. With Frerotte gone, don't be suprised to see Tommy Maddox signed because of his relationship with Mularkey.
 
Cleo a project, Cleo is a bench warnmer, nothing more. He really has no skills. You will see a veteran as backup especially if we need osmeone to play week 1.
 
They did say on the radio today(forget which of the so called insiders) that they had spoken with TO and he said that if the Fins got a QB then that is where he would want to go. However you know in the end money talks. So who knows if the Fins really are even interested anyway.
 
Gus was cut because of his salary & cap saving.

Cleo the Lemon is a pure project who was 3rd string in NFL Europe... i dont see him being anything different here....im sure we will be looking to bring in another FA QB or re-sign Gus.

who is rey teqgue? and isn't it LaVar not LeVar? and my friend is a 49ers man and says plummer is not worht the money he is ok.
 
I would really like to see Tank Williams here, he is an above average saftey, and has cool name for a guy who is good and coming up in run support

Why only two QB's? Culpepper, Lemon and Berlin isn't really bad, considering...

I really want Chris Hope. A safety tandem of Yeremiah Bell and Chris Hope could be deadly. I would also want Deshea Townsend and Julian Peterson. But if we don't land peterson, we should draft Manny Lawson.

teague is Buffalo's Center, and is rated the number 1 sleeper in free agency.

just misspelled LeVar's name.

if we sign Plummer it would not be a big deal anyways

Good info but haven't heard of those to visit, except for Adams. I don't believe Mare will go, something will get worked out. Sean Salisbury said T.O. is in the mix to join Miami. Don't be surprised if Ty Law is here too. Townsend would be alright with me.Peterson I can see that, he is a good fit to fill Seau's spot.
