I've heard some rumors saying that the dolphins might release or trade Culpepper. Do you think it'll happen?

Trading him sounds luicrous. What's he, worth a bag of Doritos and a Coca-Cola???? I suppose the Raiders might give up a 7th for him but that's virtually nothing anyway. Culpepper and Harrington will battle it out in training camp and one of them will be the starting QB for the Miami Dolphins in 2007. Anything else would lead to another bad season where the team stumbles arounf for 7 or 8 weeks trying to gain chemistry. Look at the Redskins guys, throwing players at a team doesn't lead to winning, cohesion does. If we can't get a QB who's named Peyton Manning or Brady we should stand pat.

Culpepper will be the QB of this team. He just has too much talent, despite his injuries. Hopefully he'll return.

I am all for trading him...unfortunately, I think we would have to throw in a 1st or 2nd round draft pick for another team to take him at this point.

I think its a possibility, I mean do you really think he would sit the bench behind Joey cause as of right now, Joey has earned the right to start for this team.

It needs to be an open competition next year, if CPEP is still on the roster.

Again I can't say this enough, if you watch the press conference in regards to CPEP having his knee scoped a few weeks ago, Saban clearly said something to the effect that "the removal of this cartilage, that was causing the sharp pain and holding back his rehab, made both him and I feel a lot better about his future with this fooball team"

You tell me what that says cause I think I know.

I would hate to see him go, but I can't see him sitting in a backup role all next year.

we're gonna have culpepper and harrington. it should be an open competition.

We have too much vested in him to cut him without seeing how he will be next season. My gut just keeps telling me I will be dissapointed again.:(

I hope we draft a QB even if he plays 0 games in 07.

I think the Culpepper we all new & hoped would come here is gone forever. I was a huge Culpepper supporter when he got here, but he just isn't the same as he was 2 years ago, he will never be the same. Joey Harrington is the better option right now, imho.

I'd prefer we see what we can do for us after enough time to rehab. If his knee still blows out after the entire offseason, then he's done.

I bought 2 of his jerseys. He better come back :D

Culpepper needs at least a chance. Now that the OL was re-shuffled, he should have less sacks. I feel sorry for the guy, and I am a strong C-Pep supporter, despite his ineffectiveness. He'll return to form next season, I guarantee it.

culpepper??

Culpepper was iffy coming in..what did those 5 bad games in Minnesota mean?..Now another year on the bench? So if Pep looks good in camps like he did this year and we put him out there (again), changing the o-chemistry (again), how many games could we lose (again) before realizing he's not what we all hoped for..
I'm for going for a sure thing, and Joey's improving every week.
