I read this article today. Good read and makes you wonder why teams traditionally bad in the pitching department (be it injuries or plain sucktitude) like the Rockies, Cubs, Royals etc. haven't at least taken a flyer on this method. Mike Marshall may be a tad loopy, but the video of his technique shows a great curve and a potentially devastating screwball.

Anyone else seen this live or heard about it at least?

The Royals and Cubbies have at least had some decent pitching over the years....Maddox, Wood, Saberhagen in KC...who stunk when he went to Colorado. The Rockies have had guys like Mike Hampton, Denny Nagle, Shawn Chacon, Francis....none of them any good. Not one really good pitcher since they became a club in 1993. They have had all kinds of hitting for power and average, but the pitching has never been there. :shakeno:
