New York holds off Kings for Brown's first victory

Though Larry Brown knew his first win with the New York Knicks would come eventually, he was a bit surprised to pick it up in what used to be one of the NBA's most intimidating road arenas.

Brown won for the first time in six games as New York's coach, with rookie Channing Frye scoring 19 points in a 105-95 win over the floundering Sacramento Kings on Sunday night.

Hopefully they can beat Utah tonight and start getting into a rhythm. Channing Frye and Curry are going to be real good for the Knicks and are the future. It's definitely time the Knicks make a decision on Crawford or Marbury. With Richardson on this team there's just to many posessions where there's no ball movement and quick shots. Something has to give and it has to be Marbury or Crawford!

2 in a row! the Knicks beat Utah, just to state again I am not a Knick fan but I do think this team will be pretty good. The slow start was to be expected but they'll be fine.

Right now Brown is trying to find a line-up that works. It's tough to do that when you have so many players who essentially play the same way (Richardson, Marbury, Robertson, and Crawford along with Jerome James, Mo Taylor, Malik Rose, Antonio Davis, and Channing Frye in the frontcourt). The thing I like about Brown is that he's playing the young guys. Ariza, Frye, and Robertson are going to be big contributors in the future for this team IMO. This season is going to be a season of who can and who can't. Larry's going to weed out the guys who will work in his system and those who can't will be shown the door in one form or another. Right now, as much as I hate Marbury, I think if it comes down to him and Crawford, Crawford has to go. At least we know Marbury can pass the ball when he wants to!

By the way, Jerome James is the biggest piece of **** on planet earth, another one of Isiah's bright ideas. The Knicks are headed in the right direction with Larry. Now if they can only get rid of Isiah we'd be set!
