News: Dolphins Seriously Concerned Ryan Tannehill Can't Play Sunday

Its Brock time....Oh well, at least we have a relatively unknown in him under center as opposed to what its been since forever when Matt Moore was the backup.

Lets go Oweller! You are the Man until you are not.

I’m not surprised after the shot in the Raiders game I wasn’t sure how he was able to continue. You could see the re-injury against the Bengals.

Tannehaters rejoice! You might finally have your wish of Tannehill off the team for good. Enjoy the Osweiler show!

AC Joint sprain is a pain tolerance issue. No risk for reinjury or further injury. I would expect him to play.

What I don’t get is if this injury happened 2 weeks ago why can Tannehill suddenly not play now?

It was re-injured against the Bengals. Frankly, he probably shouldn’t have played against NE or Cincinnati. Most QB’s wouldn’t have played, but RT is tougher than most.

well, here we go again. Wish we had drafted a QB that could start learning on job now but our FO/HC put all their eggs in one basket.

Not sure what the point of this post is? Are you saying RT not playing is a good thing because you believe Osweiler will perform better, or are you implying the injury may be the cause of RT’s diminished performance?

One thing that Tanny is...****er is tough. But, he probably shouldn’t play today. His OL is horrible and Mack is coming. Let Mack destroy BO today

It would have been nice to get a good rookie QB to groom. I have to assume that Mayfield was their target if they were going to pick one and that the others were not worth selling off the entire draft for. I have only seen Mayfield and Darnold play so far, and Mayfield shows promise. Darnold seems like a decent QB, but nothing special. Of course we won’t really know for a couple of more seasons.

In the overall scheme of things it doesn’t matter. They will never contend with RT, so them losing 1-2 more games this season without RT in the lineup
has no bearing on the future of this franchise.
Does it really matter if the team wins 4 games as opposed to 8?
The only thing it affects is draft position.
I’m spending the rest of the season watching the young nucleus develop (Howard, Fitz, McMillan, Gesicki, Smythe, Ballage, Baker etc).and hope they are building something special.
