News Flash: We No Longer Suck

Over the past few weeks, I've made the following statement: We suck.

You can debate whether I was wrong the whole time, or whether we used to suck and now no longer suck.

But the fact remains: We don't suck. And my state of mind is better for it. Thankyou Jason Taylor. Thankyou Ronnie Brown. Thankyou Vern Carey. Thankyou (gasp) Mularkey and Chris Chambers!
 
Well, we're a 3-6 football team, so officially, we still suck....however, we aren't the same 1-5 team we were in the beggining of the season....you can tell we have overcame that....

we are definetly a BETTER football team, but we still suck.....until proven otherwise.

No. You're wrong. We just beat 2 quality opponents. We don't suck anymore. Its true!

what now that we win a couple games we dont suck no more? get off the band wagon you removed.
 
We don't suck, but we are what we are....which is a 3-6 football team. We are a team that is getting better each week. We are a team gaining confidence with each win. We are a team that other teams should fear playing, because we have a great defense, we have a good running game, and you can expect a dogfight for 60 minutes.

I like our direction. I've seen it all before though. I've really been thinking. I might get really mad if we come all the way back to just miss out on a playoff spot. I mean I want the team to win. The feeling I had yesterday at 4 PM was great. It was nice to just gloat about our win, while my friend (who is a Broncos fan) was just going nuts during the Broncos vs. Raiders game. I just think it would be such a let down to play so good and then "just miss".

Last wasn't just miss. We never had a real chance, but this year I think we do.
 
The record is what it is but there is plenty of reason for optimism. 2 Consecutive weeks against quality opponents. Stopped 2 winning streaks, the best Def in the NFL, the best OFF in te NFL and one of the best rushers in the NFL. All held in check by the Fins. 3 of the next 4 at home, (4 of the last 7) and a seemingly slumping AFC in general. It's still going to take a monster effort and ALLOT of things falling our way but there is still reason for optimism. Let's Go Fins!
 
We don't suck .. we beat two quality teams away and home. It's possible we are finally "gelling" together as a team and finding what works best or we're just inconsistent.
 
well that is something that we can't say we are good cuz we don't have high scoring games

that is the most depressing thing i heard all day:eek:
 
Its a damn shame we couldnt have found a way to 1 or even 2 more games during the 1-6 stretch. Things would look MUCH different now at 5-4 or 4-5. But, I'm glad we're winning now. Lets keep it going as long as possible. Hey, a couple more wins and you never know. :wink:

Thanks to them for what? Calling a stupid a*ss play, and then failing to execute said play?

Why not go with what works instead of running stupid trick plays?

Stupid...absolutely stupid.
