News on Eric Wilson and Mike Quinn...

Just curious if anyone can give me some info on Eric Wilson.. his chances of making the squad and what people here think of him in general..

Also, if anyone remembers him or not, I believe Mike Quinn played here a few seasons ago. He is 2nd on our depth chart (Winnipeg Blue Bombers) and is making his second start on august 25th..

so, any info would be awesome.. thank you.

ah, but ya did. Was he cut, an FA that never got re-signed.. He played here in 2004 and 2005..
 
Wasn't Mike Quinn the QB who threw the hailmary TD and Robert Baker caught it, and we beat the BUCS?????
 
Mike Quinn is a very smart QB. Once he learns a system he can be a very productive player. His problem has always been durability, and he does not read the blitz very well and as a result can be sacked very often. He will put up the points, in fact there were a few of us Dolphans who thought he should
have been given a chance to start here when Fiedler was here because he was much more familiar with Chan Gailey's system which he had played under in Pittsburgh where he started his career. I saw Wilson at Michigan as a DL but he was a non-factor with the Dolphins.

ok, whoa.. sorry but we just signed a robert baker about a week ago.. He had been playing for toronto but was cut due to issues getting along with the coaches..

We signed him up but now I wonder, is this the same guy??

I'd hope so, Quinn looked shaky in his first start and a guy he is familiar with could go along way to helping him settle..

quick checking showed this to be the same guy.. what a small world ;) I wonder if Quinn had any say in us signing Baker..
 
Mike Quinn is playing here in Canada for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Robert Baker just joined him last week after being waived by Toronto. Baker had two very good years in Toronto but was waived essentially for repeatedly breaking team rules. Quinn actually looked pretty good last week, I caught some of his play. Lots of ex-Dolphins in the CFL. Some names give me recurring nightmares such as John (we could have drafted Randy Moss)Avery and Andrew Greene. Robert Baker, Robert Edwards etc., etc.

Actually didn't he spend his whole camp with us injured? Didn't even get much of a chance to see if he could be more than fodder if memory serves.
