NEWS on possible coach from FOX!!!

Guys:

I live in Oregon and I was listening to Fox news sports radio tonight. Twice, the host indicated he heard that Miami was putting together a package that will simply blow Pete Carroll away. He said it won't just impress him, but it will blow him away. Jay Glazer confirmed that on the program during an interview.

Now, I don't want Carroll. I hope this is a wild rumor.

I want Cam Cameron, Al Saunders, or Cowher, in that order. I don't love Cowher, but he would surely be amicable to working with his two former coordinators - Mucklarkey and Capers.

What do you think?
 
Pete Carroll will never leave USC. He's already failed multiple times in the pros. I think it's commonly accepted that he's better cut out for the college game.
 
Please, PLEASE no. I have no idea why ANY NFL team wants him, let him be happy at SC, and keep him the hell away from Miami.
 
so it's like the opposite of saban? we're going to offer carroll a huge amount of money to come here, then he's going to come out and say "how many times do i have to say this? i'm not coaching miami. end of story." then a week later, he's coaching the dolphins?
 
I mentioned Carroll earlier and everyone was saying he won't leave USC, and we hate him because of how he gave Stoyanovich the choke sign, but the guy seems to get the best of the people that play for him and he flat out wins at USC. I know he did not have the greatest success with the Jets or Pats, but I think with the right team he could succeed. He would be in my top five of the coaches out there.
 
Oh god if we after Carroll that would suck, because he sucks as an NFL coach.

The Cameron news is what we need to hear, not this! Come on Wayne and Randy, dont let us down. Start over and get a fresh start!!
 
Carroll??...I'll think about it.....

Not many of the fans have faith in the "college coach approach" anymore around here. I'm still uncertain at this point, it's early yet and all of this has me too excited / confused to think clearly....:bong2:

That's got to be on JT the Brick's show. He's a USC fan and a Raider fan. Those that have never heard him, he's got a good show on FSR.

NO! College coaches are not NFL coaches, its essentially 2 different games!! We DO NOT WANT A COLLEGE COACH.

How many need to fail. Seriously, I want an answer. How many need to fail and humbly return back to the college ranks before we see this?

I hope we don't get Carroll. I want a guy who relishes the pro football environment, not the easy lifestyle of the college ranks.

Yep, that is him. I always forget his name. He said it twice and was very sure of himself.
 
Eh... Carroll wasn't that bad as an NFL coach but I still don't want him, regardless.

Why are we going after another college guy? It seems like no one can make the jump!
