Armando Salguero, of the Miami Herald, reports <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/22/nfl">Miami Dolphins RB Ricky Williams is trying to keep pace with his teammates by practicing by himself after the rest of the team's practices are over. Williams isn't allowed to work with other Miami players or coaches, but he does have an athletic trainer help him. The workouts are within NFL guidelines for suspended players.

Armando Salguero, of the Miami Herald, reports <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/22/nfl">Miami Dolphins WR Kendall Newson (knee) is due to have another knee surgery in October to repair his torn right ACL after an earlier surgery to repair his patella tendon. Despite the surgeries, Newson is confident he will return for the 2006 season. ''I'm thinking I'll be ready by next March or April,'' Newson said Thursday, Sept. 22. "Things have gone really well so far so I have to be optimistic."


i hope newson's recovery goes well i like the guy hes just had some bad luck
 
Good to hear. I'm sure Ricky will be ready and will make an immediate impact especially with 2weeks prep time before the bucs game.

Newson has looked good, he's just got some hard luck.
 
Looks like Ricky is rededicated.Hope he stays that way,he is still our best back by far.

I'm sure Newson will be ready. Unfortunately for him it won't be with this team.

We don't have 2 weeks prep time for the bucs. The bye is next week. We then play Buffalo followed by Tampa. However, Rick won't need the 2 week prep time. He's going to smoke people when he comes back. I can't wait. :evil:
 
It is sure going to be interesting watching ricky break a lot of tackles and rush for a heavty amount of yards in his first game back. I also can't wait to read all the bashing comments he is going to get from those fans who support him and then when he does not produce start bashing on him.

difference is yatil costs us a #1st round pick..

newsom = free agent

yatil completely out of the league, newsom still trying..
 
Are there any recent pics of him?

I am worried he will be too light. You can't put on 20 pounds of muscle in 6 weeks....

He was somewhere between 215 and 220 when he began his suspension. His target weight is betweeen 220 and 225. I have no doubt he'll be physically ready to go. This story only adds to it. Besides, even pre-season Ricky layed the wood a few times during the exhibition schedule.

Guys, we may just be getting a prime of his career faster, quicker version of Ricky. Can you imagine? :cool:
