the Texans have a solid offense with a very improved David Carr, they also have one of the worst defenses in the league. So if Carr picks apart our secoundary with his highest QB rating in the league thus far than our offense better get clicking. Washington had one of the worst offenses in the 1st 2 games and than they look great against Houston. this is the game that our offense has to get going. we could lose this game if it doesn't. I haven't given up on the season because at 1-2 we are very much still alive. our offense needs to make it's turn around in this game

The Chargers scored 40 points on the Titans, and we should have dominated them as well. I think yesterday's game tells us a story of all it's own. We're not very good right now....

PHINZ RULE!!!

my point is that you all need to keep down with your negative posts at least for a week, this is the game I beleive our team will turn around in. don't give up on the team

It's the Texans, trust me, their not that good. Your team better beat them, or your in bad shape.

the skins dink and dunked their way to 22 straight completions to start the game, and nearly had 2 100 yard rushers..... we hafta get the offense turned around next week.. Please BLOCK !!!!!!!!!!

Your point is lost. I for one have no desire to wait one week so you can hang your moral on the outcome of one game agaist a bad team. That sounds real stupid to me. Saban would fry your a$$ if you were a reporter that said, "Coach do you think we should wait until after next weeks game to judge if you can turn it around". It is pretty funny really if you can look from the outside in.

I don't mind reframing negatives in to positives, but don't tell people to ignore negative and just wait for the positive to come. Nick1 there are a whole lot of negs right now, it is not a time to look the other way. We have serious issues man! This thing ain't gonna just suddenly "turn around" anyway. What are you thinking? There are deep issues and lots of them.

Casserly is looking like a genious right about now. :goof:

Mario Williams is a stud! That Reggie Bush character is a fluke! :goof:

"In order to build a championship team..."

... you must not start a franchise in Houston.

This is a must win game. The O Line better get it together this week!:tantrum:

I hate to break this to you all, but Daunte can not win on the road.
Everyone here in MN was on his back for consistantly losing on the road.
Now he's got it in his head too.
I know Houston sucks, but bet heavily on the Texans next Sunday

I agree with the title of this thread. Against Tennessee, we just needed a win. It didn't matter how we got it, we just desperatly needed a W. Now we got the first one out of the way and I expect more to start coming in. Every week I expect this team to get better. We played very well @ Pittsburgh IMO and then had a major let down vs. Buffalo. We played a little better yesterday and we were lucky we played a cup cake. We need to go on the road and get a convincing win against Houston. Then the biggest game of the year so far lies ahead of us going into Foxboro. I cannot wait for that game.

Let's not get too ****y. Remember we beat a struggling Tennessee, not a Cincinatti. We need to play one game at a time and build on what has happened.

Andy Cohen said right in his article. With the road Saban has chosen to bring along Cpep and the offense (running game) , defense, and special teams need to step up. If they don't Nick will be forced to change things up or we're in for a long season.

I've heard that also, I've also heard from my brother who's a bears fan that Daunte doesn't play well on grass, so far, and I hate to say it, he is right.

The only thing in Daunte's head that doesn't need to be there is that he needs to win the game for us, if he gets that out and just distrbutes the ball to our playmakers we should be ok.

But I agree, this game will absolutely not be easy, don't forget our defensive coordinator from last year is on this team now.

Dont understand why he would say that.

Daunte is a QB not a running back.

BUT I will say that its more likely Daunte doesnt play well in outdoors environments.

Since you cant really have grass in a dome then thats why people might be blaming the grass for his problems when in reality it might be the fact that he is better at throwing without any kind of weather to affect him.

Daunte in Minny played in a dome so that could explain his stats at home versus away in that without the wind and whatnot (and snow) of an open stadium to affect him he did well there.

I think thats more likely than grass or turf, IMO.

Problem is, looking back on the first two games should give us fans some serious pause. The Steelers are 1-2 with their win coming against the Phins and the Bills are 1-2 with their win coming against the Phins in Miami. I think things are worse than they already appear.
