Steelers (6-6) @ Browns (1-11) - Thursday Night Football

Dolphins (6-6) @ Jaguars (7-5)
Broncos (8-4) @ Colts (12-0)
Panthers (5-7) @ Patriots (7-5)
Lions (2-10) @ Ravens (6-5**)
Jets (6-6) @ Buccaneers (1-11)
ALL are Sunday at 1:00pm

**Baltimore is in Green Bay to face the 7-4 Packers tonight on Monday Night Football. Hopefully they lose to fall to 6-6 and REALLY make this a great week for us.

In games that MIGHT also benefit us the Chargers (9-3) are in Arlington to play the Cowboys (8-4) at 4:15 and the Bengals (9-3) are in Minnesota to play the Vikings (10-2) at 1:00pm. Two tough games for teams that we probably won't be able to catch unless both completely implode.

Safe to say next week is a MUST MUST MUST MUST MUST win. Every game at this point pretty much is, but a loss next week would be extra crippling because you can see how easy most of those games are for the teams we are competing with for a playoff spot (the Steelers, Jets and Ravens will cruise). A win and a probable Broncos loss would also bring them back into play too putting us just a game out of the fifth playoff spot.

Edit: Oh and the Saints (12-0) are visiting the Georgia Dome to play the Falcons (6-6) if any of you pitiful people are actually rooting against them for the preservation of the undefeated season.

The Ravens will cruise next week.

I wouldnt say the Jets will cruise. Not so fast my friend. TB sucks, but so do the Jets. Thats a road game and the Bucs have been playing better on occasion the last month of so. I wouldnt chalk that one up as a guarentee. Im not worried about the Jets anyway.

The Steelers Id say should win but again, dont mark it down yet. While I say its certainly a bigger stretch than the Jets losing would be, but it is a divisional game on the road for Pittsburgh. Its also a short week. The Steelers have also lost 4 games in a row and are not playing well without Palamalu in the lineup. The big problem here is the Browns might be the worst team in the league. But, hey stranger things have happened. They did just lose at home to the Raiders.

I like to have a one-game cushion just in case so in the back of my head, I'm thinking 7 losses.. Miami could definitely win out, as they seem to love to do! but I love thinking NFL playoffs so I've been looking ahead as us fans do.. Ravens MUST lose to the Packers or else theyre all but in as a wildcard. their schedule is a joke.
Pitt is imploding, gotta love that!
Broncos should lose to the Colts and @ hostile Philly.. cant find a 7th loss though!? they still play the Raiders? who knows, right?
Jags have an insane hard stretch with games against the Colts and at New England back to back so thats 7 losses right there even without playing us.
Jets, Titans, and Texans are out unofficially.

So realistically, (if it came down to 7 losses) I see the Ravens Broncos, Fins and Steelers (who by beating them the last week should knock them out)

I guess i'll agree with you on the Jets.

But the Steelers NEVER lose to the Browns, and there's no way they will coming off of four straight losses with their season basically on the line Thursday night.

Youre right. There was no way they were going to lose at home to the Raiders coming off 3 straight losses with their season on the line.

Color me unimpressed with the Ravens this season. They barely beat Dennis Dixon and went into halftime shut out by the Browns.

BALT and PIT play each other the week before we play Pit.If we just win all our games the BAL/PIT game will determine if we get in.

I just think don't think it's possible that the Steelers lose to the 1-11 Browns who they're 18-2 against this decade (not having lost since 2003).

Baltimore losing tonight will help, but not as much as people think.......Even if Baltimore loses, it doesn't change much.

In order for Baltimore to really lose it's edge, they will have to lose to either Pittsburgh or Oakland or both in the last 2 games of the season.....if Baltimore loses to GB tonight and detroit next week they still have a shot at the wildcard.

Meanwhile, our most important game comes next week. If we want to even have a chance at sniffing playoffs, it's crucial that we beat the Jags. The Jags hold the early tiebraker over almost ever team trying to get in. A win over the Jags would give us the tiebraker for a wildcard, meanwhile we could also hope New England loses to Buffalo or Jacksonville (either one is ok) and we can win the AFCEast.

All this assuming we win out. Sorry if I've confused you, i've been messing with the playoff generator all day long lol

To be honest all we need to do is root for the Jills to come up with an upset and win out the season and we control our own destiny.

thats not true. if we lose another game we r done. so u gotta think about it as us going 10-6 and no worse.

now if baltimore losses to gb tonight, they have 6 losses like us. then if they lose one of the final 4 games[ most likely loss at pitt bc the other teams r atrosious and the ravens dominate bad teams] then we finish ahead. so yes it does help us as much as we think it does.

Yea, youre right. My bad. I forget how much more on the mark you always are than I and should start to realize Im lost.

the steelers losing rlly is irrelevant to us besides the fact that now polamalu prob wnt play vs us bc he wnt rush back for an irrelevant game from an injury that has sidelined him twice this season.
