i think we can agree we got too good young CB'S we need to sign or draft some LB'S or DE'S that can get to the QB.

We already used a draft on young DE's. You don't expect great pressure from your line in a 3-4 defense. Our LBs are a disaster. We should have 3 new starters next season.

Our first pick better be and WR and we better get a another good WR from some other team and spend what ever to do so.

Linebacker, Cam Wake will be a beast, but he can't be our only pass rusher, once our secondary steps up teams will take longer to find open receivers, causing these coverage sacks that usually happen to us and not the teams we play against, we should bring a Receiver in through FA, and or let Patrick Turner to develop, he's our only hope as a #1 WR right now

i think we need a WR and a NT because i dont think Soliai can be a starter and maybe another LB to go with Crowder because we suck at stopping the run with our crowder

I agree that we could use youth at LB, and DL. We can get that taken care of after we get a WR, that can actually catch the ball.

LBS are a must. What we got were replacement guys to fill the holes that Saban and Cam left us. But the fact is they are still second level players.

Crowder I think is another miss that our organization still thinks is high quality. Be nice to have LB's who make tackles without being dragged 4-5 yds down the field after contact....

not to mention the lack of coverage skills by our LBs.

hey they are backups people..............

D linemen in the 3-4 are supposed to occupy blockers and free up the LBers. they've done that. that unit is young and solid. the problem is the LBers - they just aren't getting it done. would not at all be surprised to see 3 new starters next year.

DL wise-- Randy Starks is really coming to his own as a very good DE/DT and he's only 25. He still has a lot of years left.

Phillip Merling, Kendall Langford and Lionel Dodson are all under 25 and have upside.

I do want to see them address the DT side of the ball, bring another younger guy in there.

I agree with you on the LBs though. They need to address the youth of their LB core in 2010 somehow. I really like Wake though.

Blame the schemes to guys! I see tackle go way out wide to guard Taylor and Porter. Yet we never blitz through the gap. Yet New England, Jets and Saints all crash that gap on us.

3 new starters= Wake+Mcclain in the 1st+Selvie in the 3rd

That is a nice front 7..

Selvie, Crowder, Mcclain, Wake
Merling, Soliai, Starks

Use our 2nd on a WR like Benn, Tate, Lafell or whoever falls as it is very deep this year. even a guy like Gilyard or Briscoe or Dariousy (forget the name.. from Georgia Tech)

and our 4th on a guy like Aaron Hernandez, TE, UF.

Have Gibril at SS, Clemons at FS

Smith and Davis at CB..
