That new show on ESPN called NFL32? was on a little earlier and they were talking about us, chris mortenson said we shouldn't panic yet and be patient because we are still a decent team and a good road team but if we lose sunday then yes it's time to panic, Chris Carter said it's time to panic because he lives in South Florida and the community is not happy with the team and the state of the franchise, marcellus wiley said panic as well and said something about all our hamstring injury's.

I think this whole franchise should be in panic mode, it is a sinking ship and nobody is going to the games, we have a dysfunctional front office and we so desperately need structure and organization, until we get that the seats will stay empty!

Carter says it's time to panic b/c the fans are panicking. Love the logic

Carter also said that the Jets will have a hard time getting back to the AFCC game because they will have to play a road game. While I agree that they will have a hard time getting back, where is the logic in them having a hard time playing a road playoff game when they won 4 of 6 the last 2 years?

I don't care what they say, we do need to panic because we havent had a back to back winning season in years! And I'm not getting any younger!

well when the fan base is unhappy to a very large degree, and last i checked the FANS provide the income, and when the stadium stands empty because they are unhappy with the product on the field. and the attitude amongst the fans is one that these guys are clowns and this franchise has become a joke and we are mocked in the media.

then YES id say its ABOUT TIME you panicked BECAUSE of the way the fans feel. quite a bit of logic there bud. Carters correct.

we have been panicking since tony got here, where are they getting there news from

now all of a sudden its easier to win road playoffs games? last i checked historically road teams in the playoffs are in trouble. so the jets overcame the odds over a short sample of history and now its easier? come on man be real. hes CORRECT the jets WILL be in trouble because they WILL in all likelihood have to go on the road again. they arent better than the Pats. but who knows we are only 2 games in. the jets could miss the playoffs altogether or the could end up with home games in the playoffs. in all likelihood tho the jets will make the playoffs and end up on the road AND LOSE.

panic. yes.

but for frig sakes. just make it right already. none of this holy'er then thou bs.
seriously could have made moves but no? Why do we continually not take the best player available and take other teams (dallas) cast offs?

guys, i'm blown away and starting to believe that its true. There are more people on this board that have better insight, foresight and football knowledge then
the peeps that are running this show. ?????????? it's literally baffling and embarrassing.

I was unaware that the Jets had already clinched a playoff spot.

No, it is not any easier to win a road playoff game, and there are many reasons why I think the Jets will not be as successful this season. But my argument is not going to be that they have to play on the road. Not when they have won 4 of 6 on the road in 2 years.

The only post I have read from you are about how the season is over for the Dolphins since they are 0-2, and the percentage of teams making the playoffs that are 0-2. Do you think you would be using that same argument if the Dolphins had started 0-2 the past 2 seasons and made the playoffs? The 12 percent number (or whatever it is) of teams that make it after starting 0-2 would not change much, but you would be foolish to make that argument when a team has done it 2 years in a row. There are much better reasons / arguments than they will have to play on the road.
