Seahawks | NFL admits to referee mistakes from Week 12

Gregg Bell, of the Associated Press, reports the Seattle Seahawks were told by the NFL that referee Larry Nemmers made a couple errors in the Week 12 game against the New York Giants. The NFL said touchdown catches by Giants TE Jeremy Shockey and WR Amani Toomer should not have been ruled completions.

The NFL is now denying amitting this, somebody is lying and I don't think it's Mike Holmgren

The NFL never admits to mistakes even when the officials make them and I think somebody told Holmgren about the bad call when the committee didn't want it to be said

That is very interesting... I guess it was a good thing that Seahawks won that game... By this ommission things would have been ugly...:eek:

Ya if Seattle won I would of won a 100 dollars on point spread wow was I snapping all they had to do was hold them and Toomer became a hero with that catch now I know it wasn't a catch! Woah does that piss me off even more but the Dolphins won so it makes me a little happier.

holmgren dosen't really strike me as one that would just blatently lie about something this serious the NFL really needs to start doing something about these referees giving the games away or at least attempting to, it dosen't look good at all when a different coach comes out every other week and complains about refs.
