Would you be Okay with these projected 3 Rounds?

1. O.J. Howard - TE, Alabama
2. Raekwon McMillan, ILB, Ohio State
3. Danny Isidora, G, Miami

Everyone is pushing for defense, which I agree with; but would the above draft be THAT bad relative to where the Dolphins are picking?

Don't know much about the LB from OSU, but they would all address areas of need. Suppose it depends on how well FA & trades go...:idk:

Your thoughts?
:ponder:

If we got a good LB in FA (e.g. Ingram), and a decent G, I'd be ok with those picks. I'd be thrilled if Howard made it to our pick but I think we'd have to trade up for him, and in that case I don't think you'd have your 3rd rounder...

Also hate to see DE neglected but maybe something was done in FA...doubtful though.

they need to stop projecting oj howard that late

anyways the values look in line to me...I figured isidora off the senior bowl showing was a 3rd or 4th rounder...gets a little wide in his base...I'd prefer the temple guard over him there but I doubt he gets that far...feeney and lamp won't be there...I'm just going off what I saw at the senior bowl from these o line guys

I could easily see Miami taking mcmillon despite his short comings at 54

If it falls that way, I'd take it. But, we'd better be active in the LB market during free agency.

That actually might be my ideal realistic draft. Maybe take Cunningham in the first, Njoku in the 2nd... but still the same positions of need

If Howard runs 4.58 at the combine like he said we won't even sniff him. He's top 15-20 without the combine and I know he's going to run fast.

This talk about Evan Engram is getting me worried. Been looking at his tape...can't make the contested catched, drops balls a lot, he's lined up in the backfield or in the slot (never saw his hand in the dirt)...his tape reminds me an awful lot of Michael Egnew.

Based on no evidence, I suspect Miami will sign one quality FA LB and a couple of so-so LBs to kick the tires. If they get the quality guy and one more they have high hopes for, MAYBE those 3 guys will be Miami's first picks. Doubt it though. That takes a lot of good if's to get to that point. Still think the 1st 2 are defense.

yeah doesn't win the 50/50 balls in the air or play it above his head...this is Jordan reed itus...as in everyone is looking for Jordan reed...the problem is Jordan reed skill set guys at that size by and large don't pan out...but teams gonna chase it...separation at the top of his routes is what people are banking on

Does he give us anything that Duarte can't do? Like... they're nearly the exact same player in terms of measurables

more polished than Duarte...but also a guy who like Duarte can be schemed production...not the iso red zone win guy I don't think Duarte will be that either...but engrams further along as a route runner and coverage reader for option routes

duartes gonna have to show up with an nfl body this year and then see how it shakes out

I am not a fan of a 3rd round guard who might take 2-3 years before he can contribute. I would rather over-pay a veteran to come in right away and be plugged in. I would rather find a DE in this draft class so he could learn from Wake and Suh. It would be nice to have a TE drop that far, but I don't see that happening and we must not trade picks to move up.
