Worse than the 49ers? I think that is unfair, but our place on that ranking is justified. We have some great talent and a top 5 defense, but until we can start winning games we belong near the bottom. Hopefully Sporano is fired up to do something about it.

The only thing that fires up Sporano is a perfectly kicked field goal.

Not so sure we will be better than the 49ers they made a coaching change and added alot of good free agents in off season. We were one game better than them last year so its not a stretch to think they could be better.

Oh I see so its all the players and not the coordinator at all or could it be a combination. So if its all the players and he never got good results how do u know he is a good corrdinator.
I think a coach that is good can at least improve the results. there were teams with just as bad if not lesser talent on offense that got more out of their players than Daboll did .

I think you have to look at it objectively. Alot of these media outlets have short term memories and its not as if we finished last season on a high. Couple that with the fact we will have a very similar team personnel wise to last season, the Harbaugh fiasco, the signing of an OC that hasn't achieved much in the league and the fact we didn't make any big signings in FA.

Its up to the team to go out and prove the doubters wrong. Plus Power rankings are just an effort to fill column space.
