Miami Dolphins trade WR Brandon Marshall to Chicago Bears
The Bears were expected to address their receiver need in the first round of the draft until they pulled the trigger to get Marshall. The Bears gave up two third-round picks to reassemble the Cutler-to-Marshall connection that was so potent in Denver.
The way the Dolphins use their first-round pick may also change, as they now lack a playmaker outside. They could trade up to get in the mix for Justin Blackmon or trade down to target Michael Floyd if they don't quite value him as a top-10 pick. This decision depends on how they fare in negotiations with free-agent quarterbacks Peyton Manning and Matt Flynn; signing one of them means they won't use the eighth pick to enter the Ryan Tannehill sweepstakes.

Floyd looks like a bust to me but at this point...whatever.

Blackmon will be well gone by the time we pick and there are too many WR hungry teams to risk a trade down and still pick up floyd. I would take Floyd in the first and Weeden in the second, if we can somehow make that happen, that would help me regain some faith in the FO.

i'll say it again...blackmons not getting to #8...so you have to go up to get him and he might not get to st louis even at #6...as for floyd he's a top 15 or so talent i'd say so yeah in a trade down he makes sense however he's got multiple alcohol related infractions already in college and to me him in south beach is a little dicey...

i do think floyd is a legitimate #1 wr talent though...more talented than all this other garbage we're talking about as being the lead wr in free agency i can tell ya that

Get Flynn, trade down and get an extra second, draft Floyd in first Hill in the 2nd.

Depends who gets Flynn. If we get Flynn Cleveland takes Tannehill and chances of Blackmon falling go up slightly. Still don't think he falls to us though.
