Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer had a strong interview with the Miami Dolphins for their vacant head-coaching position and could be asked back for a second visit. League sources also said Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy is being considered for an interview this week.

The Dolphins plan to continue to interview new candidates, and owner Steve Ross has talked of wanting to find "a young Don Shula."
The Dolphins badly hoped to land Jeff Fisher, who agreed to become the next St. Louis Rams coach Friday, and they also have interviewed interim coach Todd Bowles, Chicago Bears special teams coach Dave Toub and Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Joe Philbin.

We better move fast because Peter King reported that the Bucs are seriously considering Zimmer

Zimmer is a good candidate, but we should not rush into anything.

IF Tampa hires Zimmer before us than the issues with the Fins are even worse than I suspected.

So Mike McCoy is a legitimate option after one season for dumbing his offense down for St. Timmy, but Chud is too inexperienced? Really, Dolphins?

I think Zimmer is by far the best canidate I also think Zimmer gets the job because he has worked with Irleand more than his credentials.

Hes worked a couple of years with Josh Macdaniel who is suppose to be a whiz, I guess. And in spite of dumbing down the offense for Tebow he still is able to be creative, He is getting raves for the last play of the game last week.

Seriously if Tampa hires Zimmer before us I'm going to flip out. Hopefully Zimmer holds out a bit waiting for our offer.

I don't think it is a good sign that he has been a DC for ELEVEN YEARS.

If this guy was a real visionary coach, he should move up the ranks faster than that. Some good coordinators are just good coordinators.

A simple play action with a post route is getting raves? Come on now..

This probably holds more weight than anything...just like scooping up cowboy retreads.

Tell that to Dick Lebeau

If you're going to make an argument, try using something better than "11 years as DC", there's plenty of guys out there that has been a DC longer than 11 years and then became coaches and some even HOF coaches.
