If you're going to make an argument, try using something better than "11 years as DC", there's plenty of guys out there that has been a DC longer than 11 years and then became coaches and some even HOF coaches.

Zimmer is a good candidate, but we should not rush into anything.

a lot of people are in a hurry. sign this guy sign this guy sign this guy, now. why ? fisher , zimmer, philbin, toub, chud, mcmichael, mccoy, mularkey....none of these guys stand out anymore than the next. if tb gets zimmer so be it, the next guy in line will be just as capable.
