Dolphins wouldn’t mind a roster with a bunch of Brian Floreses.
When Flores and general manager Chris Grier talked about the kind of players they’re looking for at the NFL Combine, they mentioned tough guys who haven’t lived a charmed life to this point.
“You always want players that have had some adversity in their lives,” Grier said. “It could be the smallest thing, but also it shows a little bit of their character and how they’ve worked to overcome things.
“Those little back stories unfold at the Combine that you like hearing.”
