Its only a matter of time. Ed Roski and im pretty sure Phil Anshultz are involved in the new stadium proposal. Both these guys are the reason Staple Center was built. Jerry Buss gave these guys the LA Kings and a percentage of the Lakers (i think 30%) to build Staples Center in Downtown. Anshultz also built The Home Depot center for the Galaxy which he owns also. Both these guys are Billionaires and big sports fan. Roski went to USC so I pretty sure USC would move there too. Where do I send my deposit? Check out the animated fly over.

How many times have you heard this before? They're still going to have the same problem as everyone else. No public funding is coming their way and no private business venture is dumping a billion into a stadium. The NFL itself would probably have to step up and foot part of the bill.

Sports teams go where they can con the voters into giving them free money.

Nice touch on that Hollywood hills style "Los Angeles" on the side of the stadium. I think thats very cool and i've always been of fond of the Dodger THINK BLUE sign.

That been the reason why the NFL hasnt came back to Los Angeles because the NFL want LA tax payer to pay for it. We just dont bend over like the rest of nfl city who have their tax payer pay for the stadium. Dr. Buss wanted a new arena for the Lakers but wanted help with public fund. That didnt workout in his favor. So what happen Tim Leiweke came in a broker a deal with Dr. Buss to build Staples Center. No public funds at all was used and it is the premiere arena in the US. Tim Leiweke will more then likely be involved in this operation also if Phil Anshultz is involved. BTW he is the CEO AEG which is Phil Anshultz company. These 2 are the only one who can make it happen because they have the money and commitment to los angeles and the entertainment industry.

I think Anschutz is the richest man in Colorado (worth about $20 billion)...he could definitely put up a nice stadium in LA.

It's hard for me to believe the league would expand.

I guess teams like Oakland and New Orleans with older stadiums could be potential LA suitors.

The pipe dream might lead the Bills out west.

Maybe if Ralph Wilson doesn't sell the team. Though I think the Jaguars maybe a stronger possibility.

Though a team in LA also means re-alignment.

The Jags or Vikes have to be the front runner if it happens. Chargers have an outside chance and would be the easiest.

The Vikings will probably get their new stadium deal done though. Football does not belong in Jacksonville, if there is a team i'd like to see move it's the Jags.
