I hope people dont freak out if we went 1-3 in preseason or something, I could see everyone overreacting badly, the starters barely play and I hope no-one takes it TO seriously if we struggle some

Pre-season is going to be great because it will show us how solid our depth is!

thats the only part of our team im nervous on is our secondary.we should be fine there because its daniels second year and he was great as a rookie.allen is a good player but what ive heard from giant fans is he makes plays but can never catch it.jason allen will probably go through a rough start for about two games because he is a rookie.

I agree with you to an extent. I don't worry at all about the record during preseason. But, I do pay a lot of attention to how our starters match up and play against the other team's starters. And, as Saban has pointed out, our success depends much on the "bottom 5". Thus, as we improve our depth, we improve our team. Now, it's these players that play more during the game than the starters (for the most part), and have a greater impact on the outcome of the game. So, while the record may not indicate much, the starters play, and to a great extent, the backup's play determine our success.

Come on. Of course people are going to freak out if the Dolphins go 1-3 in the preseason. People on this board and around Miami freak out about everything you can think of. I'm not saying they would have a reason to, because preseason record means absolutely nothing, but I can almost guarantee that would happen.

we had better win that carolina preseason game. i didn't bust my *** to break 1250 on the sat to see them lose.

I'm planning on making that trip as well. Primetime nationaly televised game where the starters actually play most of the game. I can't wait till they play a regular season game up here.

i think our depth is much more solid than last year... preseason will be fun, i dont care about the scoreboard though

Did anyone notice the 'Players Lost' section?

Here they are:
David Boston, WR
Gus Frerotte, QB
Bryan Gilmore, WR
Reggie Howard, CB
Tebucky Jones, S
Sam Madison, CB
Eddie Moore, LB
Sage Rosenfels, QB
Kiwaukee Thomas, DB
Matt Turk, P

Is there anyone there that you are gonna miss, save Madison? Also, it shows Moore as being lost. While I will ignore the potential double meaning there, because I don't think the team ever found him, did we dump him? I knew we tried to trade him, but that he failed the physical? Did I miss something?

The only position im worried about is QB.

I think you can look at the first quarter of the first 2 games, then maybe the whole first half for the other 2. I do agree though, the record really means nothing.

Yeah, so our record should be pretty good any way right?
