Best pick: Fourth-round pick Joe Toledo is a former tight end who played left tackle last year for Washington. He's a huge player who can help an offensive line that needs it.
Worst pick: Some might say that taking Jason Allen, coming off a hip injury, is a risk. Using a first-round pick on him could be chancy.
Overall grade: B-. If Allen can stay healthy, he can be a starting corner. Third-round pick Derek Hagan put up big numbers in college.

very surprised that toledo is our best pick. many people think hes our worst just b/c no one has heard of him

Allen at starting corner? Do these ppl see who weve got at Safety?
I say we got a B.

Allen did fine at the Combine and Media said it didnt effect him with his performance and Jason Allen himself says its 100% so why do they bother saying about it?

yeah allens def playing safety and hes gonna be great HE IS HEALTHY!!!! HE JUST RAN a 4.4 thats why we took him we have great docs that made us shy away from brees and ok'd cpep.

nfl is stupid allen was our best pick by far

Yeah they are. Allen is fully recovered from that injury and fully back to his dominating form. I think saban did a great job and got great value with our picks.

I'm annoyed that Culpepper, Wright and Lemon don't count as part of our draft. I don't get it.

uuuuuuuhhhhhhhh...Rodrique Wright in the 7th???!!!!!??? You've gotta be kidding me-crazy-Wright and Wright at DT, JT and KC, Traylor and Matt Roth-should be a little fun

Bad analysis. Allen a corner??? Facts are wrong and points are dumb.

While it is true they'll try him at CB first, I think that is mostly to give Allen a chance there. He has expressed a desire to play corner in the NFL and that is a more valuable position. But, I think he'll show he's a natural fit as a FS and will fit great as a deep third defender. He'll probably be moved early in camp IMO.

I wouldn't say b/c we haven't heard of him, honestly there's not alot of 4th round picks I've heard of. I just think Saban has put too much energy into the OT position. We have what four developmental tackles and 3 veterans. I want one bad a$$ center!!

I thought Toledo under Houck has the best chance of being our best player from this draft. I thought it was a middle of the road draft overall. I still dont know why Saban let Greenway go for Allen but hopefully he sees something
