NFL Draft 2018: Could the Miami Dolphins actually take this generational guard?

    Then in 4 yrs you would be paying him $14 million + to keep him. In the salary cap era, money is better spent elsewhere on more valuable positions.

    Nelson looks like a future all pro, you can get away with overpaying some guys if they are actually good and healthy.

    Or we can draft another Devanta Parker, Juwuan James, Dion Jordan, Jason Allen...and so on, and not even have a guy who's worth signing to a second contract.

    If this team had been drafting BPA for the last 10 years instead of trying to draft for specific positions, we may actually have some talent on this roster.

    Nelson won't fall to us but if he did I'd draft him in a heartbeat
