NFL Draft Top 100 & My Early Dolphins Duo

I would like Washington or Kincaid and after that Vorhees OL with versatility or Breeland OL
Because I think our FO is ok with guys on the roster at RB
If Bigby is here in the late round, I would pick him

Charbonnet was Michigan’s lead back as a true freshman in 2019 before losing that job to Hassan Haskins the following season. He then transferred to UCLA, where he’s been one of college football's best all-around running backs over the past two seasons. His 145 rushing first downs/touchdowns since 2021 lead all Power Five players. The senior is also very elusive, as evidenced by his 122 forced missed tackles in that span, which is tied for third in that same group.

He graded an elite 91,5 as he does everything very well, run, receive, block, vision, power, etc. He is not close to Robinson, no one is but his grade was only 3 points lower. He is a plug and play, set it and forget it starting RB.
So any good backs

Duece Vaughn is a special three down back as well..

Love Israel Abinikanda, Tajae Spears, Duece m, Zach

If we don’t get one of these prospects on our team, a team that has 0 running back hi upside prospect in the roster I’m gonna be pissed off

I like the others but Zach is the one I see as best ft and most talent. I believe this is the best draft chance we have had to add a real young talent in many a year.

Fair enough, just better get me a prospect running back and at tight end in this draft with the way this team is constructed

Yeah, that is where the depth of this draft is and that's where ya go for BPA.

Dude, Deuce Vaughn is 5’5 179. It will be a miracle if he carves out an NFL career at all. The chances of him being a starting, three-down back are zero.

Dude he’s been told that all his life..and I’m well aware of his height,

No team needs him to be a bell cow, but he could be a legitimate role in your rotation..

And I will bet you anything you want that he will indeed be that for the team that drafts him..a special productive player regardless of his height..

Also how tall and how much does Tyreek hill the most dangerous player in the NFL weigh?

Hill played RB at Oklahoma State. He transitioned to WR in the NFL specifically because he was too small to hold up as an NFL RB, despite being maybe the fastest/quickest person with pads on in NFL history.

Vaughn isn’t that type of talent to begin with. He didn’t run at the combine and self reports a 4.44 40, which means he’s probably closer to a 4.5. That’s not prohibitive, but it’s a totally different talent level than Tyreek Hill.

Vaughn’s best case scenario is something in the universe of Tarik Cohen/Jakeem Grant — a rotational scat back/gadget slot receiver/kick return specialist. It’s not out of the question he contributes in that kind of role, but there are 3-4 of these super tiny elite athletes who come out every year, and only a handful of them ever make any impact whatsoever at the NFL level.

You have to be special to make the NFL at all. There are 6’3 guys who run 4.4 flat and can’t sniff an NFL roster. Being special enough at 5’5 to outperform the special guys who aren’t 5’5 is extremely rare, and comes with an extremely low ceiling since there’s no way a guy like that can survive 10-12 NFL touches per game for very long.

TE run block grades last season:

Mayer- 81
Washington= 81

Kraft- 68

Kincaid- 59
Musgrave- 54
LaPorta- 53

***Kraft was against weaker competition and needs to clean up his technique but has all the skills to be be a NFL blocker and in line TE
The same cannot be said on the last three. They atr VG receivers but the blocking is lacking.

I'm penciling in Kraft as the pick. I think Mayer and Washington will be gone.

If not TE, seems like the pick will be offensive line.

I love the fact that we brought back Mostert and Wilson. They played well and know the system as well as McD However, I have to see them as what they are. Mostert is 31 with a fragile history. Wilson is a career back up. Next up is Gaskin.

I'm not comfortable with this to make a run. Everyone here has seen the problems with must have short yardage plays and knows the run game will come into play more in cold weather, late season and playoff games. I see this as our biggest shortcoming which can really hurt us.
Charbonnet? He also fits as a receiver out of the backfield.

So LaPortas 20 minutes of highlights has no evidence of his skill as a blocker whereas Washington’s highlights show his pulling and blocking skills. One guy he blocked 20 yards and the guy couldn’t get turned around he has so manhandled. 🤣 just love to see beast mode like that. DW for me!
I think Miami would sprint to the podium if Washington fell to 51.

I just have this feeling that Miami will wait until the 6th or 7th round to take a running back. Unless they trade that 51 and get another pick, like an additional 4th or 5th.
