Was wondering if anyone thought that there would be chance that NFL games would be streamed online for a fee.

The first 3 rounds of NCAA are free and being used as a test to see how many would log one and was hoping NFL would climb on board and let you pay for your team or all teams and just stream so that you could watch the games live. The NCAA things has been awesome and was hoping the NFL would take advantage since they will do anything for a buck.

I did notice that some of the NCAA games weren't able to be viewed due to black outs so that would still be an issue if you lived in Miami area but since I can't get a dish was wondering if anyone had heard anything concerning the NFL games.

I know that the only way that would be possible is if direct TV broadcasted it. They own the exclusive rights to showing the NFL games on sunday.

I heard that the NFL will be experimenting with paid live streaming next year.It will be broadcast with different cameras than the ones used for TV broadcasts.

Its about time .IMO its the best way to distribute NFL games as it has the potential to stream broadcasts to the far ends of the world.

I can tell you many of our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan will love it too.

MLB.TV is amazing....I would sign up for the NFL version in the blink of an eye.

see my computer sucks would i still be able to get a good feed bc i never get to see the dolphins and my cable provider doesnt carry nfl tv

I use streamtvnow.com to watch nfl games. It like $3-4 bucks a month. Better then paying $300.00 on direct tv. But of course its not the same like sitting in on the couch watching the game. But for 3hrs to watch my team we'll worth it. You can also watch PPV fights and other sporting events. You have to check if they are accepting new users. I guess they dont want thier bandwidth taken up so they limit the amount of users.

Just to let you know its a European company that streams these game for you. Pretty popular because most of the live streams requested are american sports.

when streaming to your comp. why don't you hook the comp to your tv and or projector...then sit on the couch?

mlb.tv is very impressive and at a great price too... 80 bucks for the year...i live in nj and i cant watch my team..the a's...so i get to watch them on the comp...great picture and sound...cant complain and the feed is great...never miss a beat...if the nfl did something like that i would jump at it in a heartbeat...but mlb.tv is great

I think the problem for the NFL live streaming (they could have done it already if they wanted to) is that the license fees for NFL games is SOOOO high (much more than any other sport) that the those who pay it don't want the product available any other way other than you having to watch it with their 'station'.
Especially overseas, if I could recieve games over the internet I would not pay for pay tv who carries it here. These broadcasters know that and want to protect their investment so it will be up to the NFL to negociate compensation to all those that have the rights if suddenly anyone can watch the games from anywhere on the planet (barring balckout and internet availability) instead of paying those who have paid through the nose for NFL broacast rights.
