NFL Instituting Jeff Ireland Rule - Disrespectful Question To Players

Don’t ask a question that would get you punched in the face in any normal setting. Easy enough Jeff!
She served 18 months for straight up selling crack rock to police informants. I'm sure the topic could have been touched on more gingerly but a player's family does play into the overall formula of the decision.

I have no problem with most of the "out there" questions teams pose. They are usually asking for very legitimate reasons.

That said, I do think some questions have been borderline racist/stereotyping whether intentional or not. Like the coach who asked the prospect to rap, that's cringe worthy, I don't think he meant it in a bad way, but it comes across as really stereotyping the person you're interviewing.

I'm with you. No need for them to be an Ahole about it. If you are at that level and asking a prospect to rap is what you have on your checklist for the limited time with a prospect you should get keelhauled.

And? What would be an okay question with this?

I would tell that **** to 100% not draft me and would make sure to DESTROY the Dolphins every time I played them.

A skilled interviewer might have broached the topic by saying:

"Tell me about your parents and how they influenced you to be where you are today" (knowing about his mom and that his dad was her pimp). Sometimes you can get a more accurate read by reading between the lines.

Maybe they should hire you to interview prospects

Are you implying that because of his mother he would crack under pressure?
