How does that work if there’s no guaranteed money yet still a dead cap hit?He has no more guaranteed money so once we release him we are done, aside from the dead cap space.

I do have a daughter. She’s smart enough not to date a man who who it’s been said publicly has put his hands on women before.I’ve instilled a level of self respect in her that she’s smart enough not to do that. So before you go all super parent on me, realize this maybe you need to do a better job with your own if you think of it, they would give a man a chance that they know his done it before.Dude really, you must not have daughters, and if you do you need to really evaluate on how impressionable young women can be. It's not like Narcissism is exclusive to the men who just have money, nor is the ability to be possessive, controlling, or abusive. I'm sure you just didn't really think about all the variables of abusive relationships, when trying to get the point across about women chasing money.
They have it no matter what. It's prorated signing bonus money. But I think they'd still have a dead cap hit if they do it that way
Because things like a signing bonus are prorated over the term of the contract. It is $ that has already been paid, just not yet debited to the cap.How does that work if there’s no guaranteed money yet still a dead cap hit?
I guess because of how his contract was structured, but thats common for the guaranteed money to expire before the contract expires. How does that work if there’s no guaranteed money yet still a dead cap hit?
The beauty of a restructure. How does that work if there’s no guaranteed money yet still a dead cap hit?
But I think they could go after his signing bonus like Michael Vick. They have it no matter what. It's prorated signing bonus money.
There's no way to recoup that unless he were to quit, similar to the Ricky Williams situation.
He hasn't been convicted of anything, and won't be until after he's released. Hard to claim any damages. But I think they could go after his signing bonus like Michael Vick.
Criminal conviction isn't required. It's conduct resulting in league suspension, legal issues, conduct detrimental, ect....He hasn't been convicted of anything, and won't be until after he's released. Hard to claim any damages.
Doubling down on victim blaming I see, was giving you the benefit but I was too generous.I do have a daughter. And hopefully no one will post a thread on this site for his next off field incident with his new team.Yeah, thankfully this means nothing to the Dolphins, he's not playing here in 2026 in any case on that contract
