NFL LIVE Bruschi and Edwards pick Dolphins QB situation (3rd) (1st) worst.

Every QB has bogus INT. Here's another statement. "If Sanchez does not improve as a QB from last year, the Jets don't make the playoff." I admit, in some games, he looks very good when he has to make a play. In others, not so much. This inconsistency is going to bite the Jets in the @$$. I think all the schedules in the East are going to be tough. Sanchez is going to have to bring his A game in more games than last year and I don't see it.

he's was much more consistent last year than his rookie year, he took a nice step forward and we will need him to take another step forward this year. he is still a developing QB.

What exactly is this improvement you always talk about?

Do I really have to tell you?

he attempted 143 more passes, threw 7 less INTs, 5 more TDs, led our O to more PPG, led the team to 4-5 comeback wins where he had to play great late in games to pull it out. His decisions making was better, he didn't have the horrible games he had as a rookie, I could go on and on. He was MUCH better in year 2 after an up and down rookie season.

I don't know why it is so hard for people to admit this! It doesn't make them a bad Dolphin fan. Now standby for the phantom dropped interception stat that makes Sanchez worse then Henne. Off to LaLaLand we go!

Calm down Junc. I just wanted to hear your thoughts on how he improved.

I apologize, I'm used to to various posters coming after me so I tend to give it back.

He was vastly improved from year 1 to year 2 and I expect him to be improved this year, we need him to be improved. It's year 3, all the training wheels are off.

No worries.

Point 3 is my interest. Years 1 and 2 they kep him pretty well handcuffed like Henne was. It appears that they are now giving Henne free rein at the LOS. Have the Jets shown the same with Sanchez this preseason?

They have shown that w/ Sanchez from the beginning.

From what I've seen of them so far, they're giving him the keys to the offense..
