NFL Live Says Sheppard is on the block, does MIA want him?

He's coming off of an ACL injury from a couple of seasons ago. I think part of why they are cutting him is his coverage skills have diminished some and part of his success has to do with Jim Johnson's blitz scheme.
 
uh Phillys CB? i wonder why he was a top CB. reason behidn it im sure.
 
Lito Sheppard is an extremely good corner but the entire Philly secondary had a down year in 2007. If we could bring him in for a day 2 pick, I'd be ecstatic.

That said, there is a 0% chance he becomes a Dolphin.
 
I think we need a good veteran back there in the secondary. I never thought of lito. I was leaning towards asanti Samuels myself but lito aint bad. If I remember right he did a pretty decent job of shutting down moss.

I'd like to stay from Assante because of the $$$ and I do think hes overrated. That being said I'd like Trufant, Hamlin (would prob be the cheapest), Lito or we draft a CB.
 
But yes I do hope Hamlin and either Trufant/Samuel come here.

Actually, Lito has more veteran experience than Samuel. Litos been in the league 6 years and Samuel 5.

Id rather have Lito... I think for the price he would be a better fit than samuel. Samuel is going to want over 10 million a year and IMO he isnt worth that
 
I never thought of hamlin. He is one of my fav s. He is tough too to come back from getting his skull all busted up. He even made the pro bowl!
